Welcome to the online home of the Upper Gwynedd Township Fire Department.  We provide Fire & Rescue services for the Township, and also provide assistance to neighboring communities.  The fire station is located on Garfield Avenue, in the West Point Village area of the Township.  We are a 100% Volunteer organization, here to serve the community 24 hours a day, every day.

Vehicle off at the Wawa

Crews were diapatched for a truck fire at one of the local Wawa's this morning around 9:00AM.  CH80 arrived to find a moving truck heavily involved, with reports of an explosion.  E80 established a water supply and crews from Towamencin and North Penn Fire Company's helped extinguish the b...

Kitchen off in the "Boro"

E80 was dispatched to assist Station 62 on a kitchen fire.  Crews arrived and assisted with suppression, throwing ladders, and overhaul.  Units were on scene for a little over an hour. Thanks to Krista Hoblitzell for the pics!!...

Live Burn at Montco

Tonight, crews headed down to the Fire Academy in Plymouth Township for a live burn drill.  Crews practiced high rise operations while using standpipe connections and high rise packs.  Members also hones thier skills in Search & Rescue.  Thanks to all tha came out for a good time!...
